Nokia launches its first 5G smartphone retro phone
The Nokia brand announced the promise of launching a 5G smartphone with a retail price of about $650, as well as some other low-level phones.
The Nokia 8.3 5G was nominated for 599 Euros ($634) through this summer. It will operate in the low-end 5G frequency band from 600MHz to 3.8GHz. Therefore, it should be able to run normally on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint's 5G network, but not on Verizon.
Juho Sarvikas, chief product officer of HMD Global, which owns the Nokia mobile phone brand, added: “Nokia 8.3 can roam around the world.” The company launched the device in a live broadcast on Thursday. Due to its wide acceptance of different 5G spectrums, It is hailed as "the world's first global smart phone facing the future".
In order to power the device, Nokia is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip. The upcoming Android product also has a 6.81-inch large screen, covering most devices. For the front camera, Nokia installed a small hole in the upper left corner of the display. The rest of the phone is housed in a recycled "Polar Night" aluminum case, which should give people a high-quality feel.
