Apple a14x based on M1 chip will make its debut on the new iPad Pro
We've seen countless rumors about Apple's upcoming iPad Pro update, which is believed to take place in April. So far, the most interesting feature has been the switch to the mini LED display, but we have also heard rumors about the new chipset, which is said to have similar performance to the apple M1 in the latest MacBook laptops and mac mini desktops.
After 9to5mac reported the news about the new a14x chip found in the fifth IOS 14.5 beta, these chipset rumors have now been confirmed. The GPU of SOC is called 13g in the test version, which follows Apple's usual chip code scheme. In addition, beta's in-depth research also revealed the codes of four new iPad models: j517, j518, j522 and j523.
In addition to the rumored iPad Pro refresh, there is also speculation about the new ipad Mini with modern design. It's also mentioned that the pro model is equipped with thunderbolt connector to quickly connect with peripheral devices such as monitor and hard drive, but we just need to wait for more confirmation.
