Samsung's isocell 2.0 technology can improve the light input and fidelity of mobile camera

To improve the performance of the small pixel photoreceptor, Samsung has introduced isocell plus technology to reduce the loss of light input by replacing the metal wall between color filters with new materials. Thanks to the opportunity previously published by vivo S9, the upgraded version of isocell 2.0 also appeared on the 44mp self-camera. Earlier, Samsung officials released a film that gave a more detailed introduction to the new technology.

According to Samsung, isocell 2.0 uses more reflective materials to enhance the light transmittance at the lower part of the light blocking section based on the "first stage" isocell plus. In this way, the "maximum reduction of the input loss" can be achieved, so as to improve the photographic sensitivity, reduce noise and make the picture more authentic, more vivid and vivid. Samsung has previously determined that a number of 108mp, 64mp, 48mp and 32mp light sensitive elements with single pixel size of 0.7 μ m will be launched. Under the support of isocell 2.0 technology, their performance should be expected.
