Samsung mobile is developing scalable slide out display

A few months ago, the Samsung Galaxy S11 was said to have a scalable screen. It has been shown in some patent images. We know it won't happen with Galaxy S11, but it's possible that we'll see the idea come true. There are rumors that Samsung is expected to demonstrate the so-called slide out display at a secret meeting. As it is currently being tested, this slide can be used on future smartphones. This may be the next big thing since the OLED screen was commercialized by Samsung.

The slide out display is different from the foldable screen. The new screen is said to slide out as it scrolls inside the device. It can still be part of a foldable mobile game, but some changes and improvements are needed.

We've been looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy fold 2, which is said to have a flip design comparable to Motorola Razr. This will be a more affordable foldable phone, but another advanced Galaxy fold will still be announced in the second half of 2020.

Samsung is believed to be developing flexible OLED displays. Flexibility refers to the ability to curl or slide out. So far, it's still a concept, but the technology certainly has potential.

It's possible to slide out of the phone, but like the original Galaxy fold, it needs to be developed and actually constructed. Samsung has demonstrated something similar before. This time, the technology may have been greatly improved, but we have not yet confirmed it.
