Apple will occupy the tablet Market with 53.2 million units in 2020

 Last year, the computer and tablet market grew as people stayed at home due to the popularity of the covid-19. According to the latest report of IDC, the sales of tablet computer market will increase by 13.6% in 2020.



The total shipment of tablet computers was 164.1 million, 144.5 million more than a year ago. Not surprisingly, Apple has always been a market leader in this segment.


Apple successfully shipped 19 million iPads in the fourth quarter of 2020 alone, showing its dominant position in the market, the report said. Last year, the Cupertino based giant shipped 53.2 million units, covering 32.5% of the market.


Samsung ranked second in the fourth quarter of 2020 with 10.1 million Galaxy Tab shipments, up 45% from the same period last year. The company's market share is 19.1%.


Despite its efforts to maintain the sustainable development of its consumer electronics business, Huawei, the Chinese giant, has successfully ranked among the top five brands of tablet computers in 2020 due to its shipment volume of 16 million units last year and its 9.8% market share.
