Apple IOS 14.4 and iPad OS 14.4 fixed security vulnerabilities

 Apple's latest software updates come with the official release of IOS 14.4 and iPad OS 14.4. Both updates contain important kernel and WebKit bug fixes, so it's best to install them on your device as soon as possible.


According to a security file provided by apple, an unnamed malicious application may gain higher privileges and act as a portal for vulnerability exploitation. WebKit issues allow remote attackers to execute harmful code on your device. Apple is continuing to investigate the matter and ensure that the new update is used to fix the vulnerability.


The new IOS version is available for iPhone 6S and later and iPod touch (7th generation), while the iPad OS will be compatible with iPad air 2 / ipad Mini 4 and later. Other new features include the ability to scan smaller QR codes and the option to classify Bluetooth devices in settings to help collect headphone audio level measurements on third-party devices.

From now on, apple can determine whether your iPhone 12 series mobile phone is using genuine camera components. If other non original or recycled cameras of iPhone 12s are found in your device, a notification will be sent.

The owner of the mini homepod also has ultra wideband (UWB) support for the iPhone 11 and 12 models that come with the apple U1 chip. This will speed up the switching between the homepod mini and the iPhone for faster music transmission and tactile feedback.
