Samsung may allow users to use voice commands to unlock their phones
Samsung is preparing to launch the galaxy S21 early next year. To be sure, the flagship phone will be upgraded in large sizes, but Samsung has also made ambitious plans for its Bixby voice assistant. It is reported that Samsung will add voice recognition support to unlock your phone.
Samsung's one UI 3.1 will allow users to choose Bixby voice as a biometric method to unlock devices, sammobile reported. One UI 3.1 is expected to debut in the galaxy S21 series. The software update is likely to be available on other galaxy phones as well.
So far, it is not clear how this feature will work. It's worth noting that Google provides a similar voice based feature in the helper. However, for security reasons, the company removed the voice matching feature in 2018.
Samsung launched a new update for its Bixby voice assistant, and the new report appeared a few weeks later. The new version has a new look and feel, including updated icons and visual refreshes.
In other words, this is the first big vulnerability that could be upgraded to Bixby voice assistant. Samsung's digital assistant has been on all the top Galaxy phones for quite some time. Samsung launched in 2017 to replace Apple's Siri and Google's assistant, and has made various efforts to push Bixby to its users.
