NVIDIA's rtx3090 is only 10 percent faster than rtx3080 in 4K games
Players may skip NVIDIA's RTX 3090. Surprisingly, in 4K games, the $1499 graphics card is only 10% to 15% faster than the RTX 3080.
The company revealed some benchmarks for 3D rendering in statistics released on Wednesday. The RTX 3090 does offer a significant "up to 50" performance improvement over the previous generation of Titan RTX cards, which initially retail for $2499 when it went on sale two years ago.
But for most PC gamers, it's better to save money and spend it on $699 RTX 3080 (assuming you can find one). Consider RTX 3090 only if you have an expensive 8K monitor. According to NVIDIA, the RTX 3090 is the first GPU to fully support 8K HDR games with an amazing 7680 × 4320 pixel resolution.
