U.S. second-hand dealer user survey, more than 30% of Android users consider iPhone 12
The iPhone 12 series, which will be released next week, has attracted the attention of many consumers, and even users who originally use Android phones are eager to try. SellCell, a US second-hand mobile phone trading website, visited more than 2,000 Android mobile phone users earlier. As a result, nearly 33% of respondents would consider iPhone 12 when changing phones.
Rumors indicate that Apple will launch 4 iPhone 12 models, namely iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The SellCell survey found that the smallest size iPhone 12 was welcomed by 48.1% of respondents, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max with the largest screen was considered by 22.9% of respondents. The reasons why respondents consider switching to iPhone 12 are 55.9% related to the longer system support period of iOS, and 48.8% think that iOS has better privacy protection.
36.9% think that the smaller body design of the iPhone 12 is the reason for them, and 30.9% think that the pricing is the reason for the replacement. The Pixel 5 announced earlier is priced at US$699, while the iPhone 12 mini is rumored to start at US$649. Other reasons that attract Android users to switch to iPhone 12 include better features (24.7%), support for 5G networks (19%) and better iOS user interface (12.1%).
