The release time of the Mate40 series is confirmed, or it will be Huawei's last Kirin mobile phone!

Huawei's consumer business president Yu Chengdong officially announced through Weibo that a global online conference will be held at 20:00 on October 22, Beijing time, to launch the flagship mobile phone Mate 40 series in the second half of the year, and may be Huawei's last generation Kirin 9000 processor. The Mate 40 series received a lot of attention from consumers in the second half of the year. Because of the Sino-US trade war ban, consumers paid much attention to the specific situation of the Mate 40 series. After all, the Kirin 9000 processor it uses may become Huawei's own processor. It is reported that the Huawei Mate 40 series will have four versions of Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design. All series adopt a curved screen design with a hole in the upper left corner. Among them, Mate 40 is a curved screen + rear round three-mirror design, while other versions use a waterfall screen with a larger curvature + a rear four-mirror combination. In terms of performance specifications, in addition to the Kirin 9000 processor, the Huawei Mate 40 series is equipped with 66W fast charging, and it still uses charge pump technology, which can output 11V voltage and 6A current. Compared with the charging power of more than 100W from other manufacturers such as Xiaomi, this is not an advantage. For Huawei's Kirin series processors, in previous years, Huawei would choose to release a new generation of Kirin processors at the German IFA exhibition. However, due to special circumstances, Huawei chose to release online together with the Mate 40 series. Yu Chengdong once said that Kirin 9000 is likely to be the last generation of Huawei Kirin processors.
